Citroen Xantia

1. Remove assembly of the right power shaft (see. Removal and installation of power shafts).
2. Check freedom of rotation of an external holder of the bearing (mutual люфт between holders should remain uniform). In case of need make bearing replacement (see further).

3. By means of a special universal stripper with long directing accurately remove assembly of the intermediate bearing with the landing plug from internal section of a shaft. Slightly grease with dense greasing an internal holder of the new bearing and plant it on a shaft pin. Striking blows with a hammer to an internal holder through made of a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter a drift, plant bearing assembly on a shaft against the stop it in external section of the CV JOINT. Afterwards plant the plug, having densely pressed it to an internal holder of the bearing.

4. Check freedom of rotation of the bearing, then establish assembly of a power shaft on the car (see. Removal and installation of power shafts).
