1. If the power unit is not removed from the car for the purpose of performance of major maintenance (see. Head engine Repair), access to the mechanism of switching off of coupling can be provided with a removal way only transmissions (see. Manual box of gear shifting).
2. On models with coupling of usual (vyzhimny) type liberate vyzhimny the bearing from a fork of switching off and remove it from a pin of primary shaft of RKPP. Beat out a cylindrical finger and remove the lever of switching off of coupling from the top part of an axis of a fork. The finger at assembly is subject to replacement without fail.
3. On couplings of both types wring out fixing uvulas and remove the top plug from the end of an axis of a fork of switching off. Take out an axis from the bottom plug and take it from transmission. Wring out lock uvulas and take the bottom axial plug from a transmission case.

1. Estimate degree of wear of all components of the mechanism of switching off of coupling. Defective details replace. It is necessary to give special attention to a condition of bearing, persistent and contact surfaces.
2. At check of a condition of the vyzhimny bearing it is necessary to remember that a rule of a good form is replacement of this major component without fail. Check smoothness of contact surfaces of the bearing, estimate freedom of its rotation. in the presence of the slightest doubts replace the bearing (on models with coupling of exhaust type assembled with a basket - see. Removal, check of a condition and installation of assembly of coupling).

1. Grease axial plugs and contact surfaces of a fork of switching off of coupling with greasing on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide.

2. Fill in RKPP case the bottom axial plug, having tracked reliability of fixing it lock uvulas.

3. Establish a switching off fork.

4. Put on a fork axis the top plug, having latched it on the seat in a transmission case.

5. On models with coupling of usual (vyzhimny) type dress on a fork axis the switching off lever. Level the lever concerning an opening in an axis and fix it a new cylindrical finger. Plant vyzhimny the bearing on a pin of primary shaft and enter it into gearing with a switching off fork.
6. Establish into place transmission assembly (see. Manual box of gear shifting).
