Removal and installation of a steering wheel

Models without a safety cushion

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Having accurately hooked, remove the central overlay of a steering wheel.
3. At the corresponding complete set disconnect electroconducting from a payment of remote control by functioning of the radio tape recorder located in a groove in the top part of a steering wheel.
4. Give a fixing nut and remove a steering wheel from a column shaft (at the corresponding complete set track electroconducting liberation from the central part of a wheel).

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. At the corresponding complete set track correctness of laying of electroconducting. A fixing nut tighten with demanded effort.

The models equipped with a safety cushion

The electronic control unit (ECU) of a safety cushion is built in in assembly of a steering wheel, - try not to damage the block in the course of dismantle of the last.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the safety cushion module (address to Head Onboard electric equipment).
2. At the corresponding complete set disconnect electroconducting from a payment of remote control by functioning of the radio tape recorder established in a groove in the top part of a steering wheel.
3. Liberate the contact socket of electroconducting of a safety cushion from a clamp on a steering wheel and disunite it.
4. Give a nut of fastening of a steering wheel. In the course of removal of a wheel from a shaft of a steering column track an electroconducting prodevaniye through its stupichny part.
5. Transfer the removed steering wheel to a storage place. Try not to damage safety cushion ECU.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:
   a) Track correctness of laying of electroconducting;
   b) Track observance of demanded effort of a tightening of a nut of fastening of a steering wheel;
   c) Do not forget to establish into place the safety cushion module (address to Head Onboard electric equipment).
