Removal and installation of the bottom spherical support of a forward suspension bracket

For a reversing and a tightening of a spherical support the special tool of the Citroёn No. 7103-7 type and a shock key of the Facom Dynapact type) is required. In the absence of near at hand demanded tools it is necessary to charge performance of this work to specialists of car-care center. At all do not undertake attempts of removal of a spherical support by means of make-shifts! Also new nut of a spherical finger is required.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in hydraulic system (see. Head Uniform hydraulic system). 2. Prop up protivootkatny boots back wheels, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. Remove the corresponding forward wheel. 3. Weaken and partially unscrew a nut of a finger of the bottom spherical support (unscrew a nut till the end of a carving fingers for the purpose of protection of rounds by the last at hinge liberation). Liberate a sharovy finger from stupichny assembly by means of a divider of spherical support, then finally remove a nut.
4. By means of a suitable drift bring down the dustproof screen of a spherical support.
5. Enter the special tool 7103-7 into gearing with cuts on assembly of a spherical support and fix it by a lock-nut tightening on a carving part of a spherical finger. Connect to the tool a shock key and turn out assembly of a spherical support.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:
   a) Before finally tightening with demanded effort a support by means of the special tool, screw it as it is possible more strongly by hand;
   b) Try not to damage at installation of components a rubber protective cover of a support;
   c) Do not forget зачеканить the dustproof screen of a spherical support in cuts in the lower part of stupichny assembly;
   d) After car lowering on the earth tighten spuskny the gate of a regulator of pressure and transfer a control lever a suspension bracket to the situation "Maximum".
