4. By means of the special key equipped with the elastic loose leaf, turn out spark plugs. In order to avoid damage of a ceramic insulator try to hold at a reversing of a candle a key head parallel to its axis. Having turned out all candles, make check of their condition (see further).

5. The external condition of candles can give a lot of useful information about degree of wear of the engine. If the working end of a candle shines and is free from raids and deposits, therefore, in chambers of combustion too poor air and fuel mix moves, or the candle has excessively high kalilny number (heat removal from electrodes in a hot candle occurs less intensively, than in cold).
6. If the working end of a candle and an internal central insulator are covered with a thick layer of sazhisty deposits, therefore, the mix is too enriched. The black color of a working part of a candle in a combination to traces of oil testifies to internal wear of the engine, or also excessive enrichment of a mix.
7. Golden or grayish-brown coloring of a working part of a candle is the certificate of the correct configuration of an air and fuel mix and good internal state of the engine.
8. One of the major parameters defining efficiency of an iskroobrazovaniye of a candle is the size of an interelectrode gap. Nominal rates of candle gaps are specified in Specifications.

9. For installation of an interelectrode gap measure it by means of special щупа, then extremely accurately turn in a lateral electrode in the corresponding direction. Do not try to correct at all the provision of the central electrode as it can lead to failure of an internal porcelain insulator that is fraught with the most serious consequences. Shchup of lezviyny type of nominal thickness should slip hardly in a gap between electrodes.

10. Special tools for correction of gaps can be got practically in any shop of automobile accessories.

11. Before installation of candles make sure of reliability of fixing of carving nozzles, and also in purity and serviceability of a condition of rounds of a carving. Often наживить a candle in a carving opening of a niche without a distortion it appears rather difficult. In order to avoid damage of a carving to a head of cylinders at such distortion put on a candle shaft a piece of a fuel hose of suitable diameter. Grasp for the hose end fingers and begin наживлять a candle. As soon as the distortion will cause appreciable resistance to rotation, the hose will start to be turned that completely excludes risk of damage of a carving.

12. Having finished nazhivleny candles, remove from it a hose piece. The further tightening is made by means of a dinamometrichesky key. Operating in the same manner, establish on the engine all spark plugs.

13. In summary, connect to candles of VV of a wire and establish into place all components acting in film for the purpose of ensuring access.
