Citroen Xantia

1. Transfer a control lever a suspension bracket to the situation "Maximum", then disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Disconnect driving cables of the parking brake from supports of brake mechanisms of forward wheels (address to Head Brake system), then lift as it is possible above a control lever the parking brake in car salon.
3. At the corresponding complete set remove from the central console an armrest.
4. At the corresponding complete set accurately liberate a small ware box from a forward part of the console.

5. On the models equipped with system of an immobilization of the engine, liberate from the console the control panel an immobilizator for the purpose of ensuring access to forward fixing screws.

6. Open an ashtray in a back part of the central console and liberate it from fixing clamps.

7. Take a small ware box from the top part of the console.

8. At the corresponding complete set accurately hook and take from the console switches of management of electric drive functioning by window regulators and a hydroactive suspension bracket of the car. Disunite contact sockets of the corresponding electroconducting. Try to remember an order of connection of wires.
9. Liberate from the dashboard and remove from the car a forward ashtray.
10. On models from RKPP liberate from the top part of the console a protective cover of the lever of gear shifting. Release a clamp and remove a cover from the lever.
11. On models from AT liberate from the console a protective cover and facing of the indicator of positions of the lever of the selector.

12. Turn out two lobbies and two back fixing screws and shift assembly of the central console back.

13. On the models equipped with system of an immobilization of the engine, release a clamp and disunite the contact socket of electroconducting of the control panel of an immobilizator. Having disconnected electroconducting, remove the panel.

14. Lift the central console and, removing it from the selector lever, take from car salon.
